[FW-1] FTP Security Server Fails from Unix

I have a Nokia IP440 running FW-1 NG FP1 that is giving me an odd problem.
I have it setup for User Authintication with FTP and have set
new_ftp_interface to true.

I can't command line ftp from my HPUX 11.00 and 10.20 hosts with the '-n'
flag (no prompt). FTP without '-n' works. When I login with "user
fwuser@rmtsite fwpasswd" I get a wrong username error and the logs show
the username as the remote site!

The only clue to a problem is that the ftp client sees the firewall as a
system type 'USER'.

gpnp031:/home/dcjones > ftp -n gpiext.rr.gapac.com
Connected to gpiext.rr.gapac.com.
220 Check Point FireWall-1 Secure FTP server running on hqfppext
Remote system type is 'USER'.
