[FW-1] SMTP Server Problem

Hallo list,

if I use mail or sendmail on a UNIX machine to send an email through the
fw1 SMTP Server, all things are OK.
But if I simulate a SMTP Session like (mailhost is the fw1 machine):

telnet mailhost 25

220 host.domain.com SMTP/smap Ready.
HELO mail.domain.com
250 (mail.domain.com) pleased to meet you.
MAIL FROM: <user@domain.com>
250 <user@domain.com>... Sender Ok
RCPT TO: <user2@domain.com>
250 <user2@domain.com> OK
DATA
354 Enter mail, end with "." on a line by itself
From: user@domain.com
To: user2@domain.com
Subject: Test

This is the Email body
.
250 Mail accepted
QUIT
221 Closing connection
Connection closed by foreign host.


The SMTP Server on fw1 answers with the correct statements, but the
email isn't sent, any hints?
