Can anyone explain > this??? in.routed is started automatically if you are a router. You are a router to solaris if you have more than two interfaces and there is no /etc/notrouter file. As to why this broke your access to the box, well that could have happened for a number of reasons. If you are not familiar with Solaris, however, you probably should not set up a firewall on it.
