Hi Joe, As far as I know (haven't played with DirectTv but many, many others) it has been my experience that you cannot tunnel (VPN) through a tunnel. The reason you cannot bind TcP/Ip is because it is already bound (VPN like) tunnel already created by the Satellite signal. I will be watching out for RE: on this one as I am still searching for VPN solutions for our remote people. Anyone do this successfully yet? We tried installing with 4.1sp5 client on the remote end and the directway navigator diagnostic tool gives a 'tcp/ip could not bind' or some such error message. I have a 4.1 sp4 box here. Alternatively, is there another vpn client that will work with the fw I have here - maybe an XP built-in? Thanks. #JOE ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
