Re: [FW-1] NAT through VPN... Urgent

hi,

At 20:16 23.04.2002 +0200, you wrote:
Dear All,

I have a VPN Tunnel between two sites.
I am using Secure Remote to access to Site were Firewall 1 4.1 sp 2 is
installed on a IPSO 3.3

does securemote work with other clients?

The machine that I am trying to connect to is natted with a static nat.

I am unable to connect to this machine...

do you see any error-messages in the logs?

do you try to access the internal IP-address of this machine or the
external(NAT)-address of this machine?

* this machine has to be part of your encryption-domain
* you have to connect to the *internal* ip-address of the machine
* you have to use a service not allowed by any other rule above (if you try
to ping and icmp is allowed in the implied rules it won't be encrypted ...)

cheers
-reinhard
