Hi!

I just freshly installed VPN-1 on a Solaris machine and the
GUI on a windows machine (NG FP2). Everything works fine, but
when I try to configure an encryption rule, there is no encryption
as choice in the action column available (I need this for travelling
users with SecuRemote client)

I installed the following licenses on the Sun:

CPVP-VSR-100-NG
CPMP-VFG-100-3DES-NG

Did I miss something essential?

yes - RTFM.

you can create a new policy "file -> new", then choose "security and
address transladtion" and select "traditional mode" ...

or use the new "VPN manager" tab to define VPNs.

cheers
