Steven s absolutely correct. If you search the archives for DSL and
Outlook, you will see that everyone who has had your problem has been able
to fix it by modifying their MTU.

I would disagree with Steven however, in that I would suggest you drop the
MTU all the way down to about 1400 and further if necessary. The amount
overhead added to a normal packet as a result of PPPoE, SecuRemote, and
digital ceritficates (If you start using them) is huge.
