I agree with Don here... if you delete the www user, which is the user Apache runs *as*, I would *think* you would not be able to access html pages at all (be it through a browser on a remote machine or through lynx - which is just another browser - via a serial console). Never tried it, though... ;) The reason for this is that the web server cannot run! So independently of which user you have to log in as (admin, or whatever), if the web server cannot run, you're out of Voyager. (Remember that authentication is just a feature of the web server, nothing else.) I would look more into the possibility of putting the user back in... editing passwd and/or shadow files, maybe copying the line from another Nokia box (copying shell/no-shell, passwd/no-passwd, etc. properties). Not a good thing to mess with, but I would definately give it a try... I'd also look into the /config/db/whatever file, and see if there's anything in there that might rebuild passwd/shadow files at boot. Just my opinions, nothing more.
