Hello,

Only allowing subnet a.b.*.* through the policy is not enough, you must
also allow the clients one by one, they are listed in a file called
gui-clients and are added to the file by running cpconfig.

The second workstation is also in the subnet a.b.c.*
As I have allowed the subnet a.b.*.* to access to the management station,
it should work.
But it doesn't !!!

Check your gui-clients file and check if the 2nd workstation is allowed.

Theo

Subject: [FW-1] pb to access to management console from a GUI

     Hi everybody,
I have installed the GUI on two PCs which are on the same subnet
(a.b.c.0/128).
When I use the first one, I can access to the FW management console
(e.f.g.h) using the GUI.
But When I do it from the second PC, I have the message "Authentication to
server e.f.g.h failed"
On the management console, I have used cpconfig to enable the subnet a.b.*.
* to access to the management console.
What might be wrong ??
thanks for your help.
