This is a documented bug on the Nokia KB (Resolution #9770)... I've got
the same error popping up on my W2K management server.. no problems.
FireWall-1 NG Error Message: Error: can not get df type
Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1, HA and HA VPN Configurations
for version: NG 5.0 FP1 And Before
date modified: 11/20/2001
In FW-1 NG, when policy is installed onto the Gateway Cluster modules,
the following error message may be displayed:
Error: can not get df type
SOLUTION
This error can be safely ignored; will be corrected in FW-1 NG FP2.
Policy installation for all modules of cluster members would be
successful.

I have Firewall-1 in High Availability, with StoneBeat FullCluster for
firewall-1.
When i install the policies i receive the following error message:
error: can not get df type
The policies are installed in both modules, and everithyng works fine,
but
the error message persists.
I want to know if anyone has this error before, and how to make it
desapear.
