I agree with Don. Use one of the Anti-Virus servers to fill this function and kill two birds with one stone. TrendMicro and Network Associates have software that will do it. Network Associates has appliances (Webshield e250 and webshield e500) that will scan smtp, http, ftp, and pop3 for viruses, do content filtering, and provide anti-relay/anti-spam. >>> [email protected] 04/09/02 10:54AM >>> The SMTP Security server is a poor substitue for a good mail relay. Install a secure mail relay in your DMZ to handle all incoming and outgoing email. Configure this system with any size limitations, recipient limitations, and anti-spam features you want. A nice side-effect of configuring a seperate relay is that you will takea lot of load off of your filrewall and you will not need to deal with mdq, etc. -Don ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
