Hi! I had the same problems few times. And I found out a very strange regularity: GUI losts connection after renaming security policy from default "Standard" to any another name. Renaming policy back to "Standard" does not solve the problem. There was only one solution: re-install firewall and re-create policy manually from beginning. Looks mysically, but this helped...
