[FW-1] How to Recover VPN-1 4.0 Remote Node ?

I have a Windows NT 4.0/VPN-1 4.0 SP4 remote firewall node which has been
crashing lately (looks like hard disk problem).

Before I go out to swap-out hardware was wondering if worth connecting to
the firewall server (it does stay up for about an hour at a time !) and
copying over any setup files that are good to have just in case I have to
rebuild from scratch or use an old backup.

Any tips appreciated.
