I ran into this issue as well, gave up on Checkpoint and backed back down to SP2, since SP6 was not out yet. |--------+----------------------------------------------> | | Matthias Leu <[email protected]> | | | Sent by: Mailing list for discussion| | | of Firewall-1 | | | <[email protected]| | | point.com> | | | | | | | | | 04/05/2002 09:08 AM | | | Please respond to Mailing list for | | | discussion of Firewall-1 | | | | |--------+----------------------------------------------> >-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | | To: [email protected] | | cc: | | Subject: Re: [FW-1] Problem with @ in a URL | >-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Hi, not having a 4.1 test area at the moment - but as far as I remember... there has been a posting at Phoneboy's mailing list. Try to put a rule with an URI Resource just before the rule blocking the " @". In this resource use wildcards and in Wildcard-Matching / Host put a *@*, * for path and query. Then create a rule accepting this resource, install and test. Not really elegant, but last year it worked for me. Hope it helps, best regards, Matthias http://www.fw-1.de Padhu wrote: > I called Checkpoint support on this and they were telling me that they have > no records of this problem and wanted to charge me $450 to "create" a custom > hotfix for me.
