Are both firewalls' external addresses DNS resolvable?

We have several Nokia boxes running FW1 4.1 SP2. For some reason one
firewall in paticular will not connect to ftp servers, it takes the
login then states connection closed by remote end. Has anyone seen this,
I have compared the rules and they are identical so I cannot see the
issue.
