The application exception error doesn't give us enough information. You should be able to find an uninstall script. Sometimes there is an uninstall option as a part of the install script. If it used pkgadd you can do a pkgrm. See man pkgrm. If all else fails, do a recursive remove in the install directory, remove any references to startup scripts in your rc files and reboot.
