This is a good call. The CheckPoint security servers are just not built to handle any sort of serious load. They are included to boost CheckPoints feature list, and to provide a simply way to temporarily fix a problem. CheckPoint is not a proxy firewall, and trying to make it one is a bad idea. If email viruses are a concern, then install a seperate mail relay/anti-virus server. If HTTP viruses are a concern, then install an HTTP proxy with anti-virus features.
