Title: Message
I can't find the list archive so I'm posting this as I desperately need a solution.

I spent half the night last night trying to get 4.1sp2 installed on a fresh install of Win2k Server SP2. I couldn't find much help in the CP knowledge base or tech documents, other than SP2 is the first release to support Win2k. So I figured I'd install the SP2 packages (FW-1 & FG) then install the SP5 updates. I did a number of different installs (lucky I ghosted the drive to a spare at the point before I started to install FW-1) and they all seemed to be missing something. In the simplest setup, I installed the SP2 install downloaded from CP's web site, added licenses, admins, gui clients. When I reboot and look in the event log it's full of errors. At least one of them referred to missing dll's with "dmt" in the file name, and another saying something about not being able to reach the policy server. I know on my CP2000 cd there is a CPdmt pacakge, but it wouldn't install with FW-1SP2. The SP5 dmt update wouldn't install either. Is this what I'm missing, and if so how can I get this for SP2? Do I need to start with nt4 and then upgrade (which I really would hate to do)? I know I've seen tools to trick installers into thinking the OS/Service Pack level is different than it actually it - would it screw things up if I made the CP2000 cd (which is SP1) think I was running NT4 SP4-6? The drive that's currently in the firewall is on it's last leg, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
