Re: [FW-1] VPN with Microsoft ISA server

We haven't tried with ISA Server, but with the standalone IPSEC
functionality of W2k, we're able to get VPN between CP 4.1 SP4 and a W2k
Workstation. May some configuration changes in the IPSEC policy would enable
tunneling and hence a full VPN between them. As far as I remember,ISA can
deal with IPSEC. Have you checked www.isaserver.org about IPSEC issues?

I have talked to two MS experts, and we have tested it out, both against
VPN-1 and Pix, but we where not able to get it to work.
All the help we get from MS is - "this should work - but we don't know how
to do it" !!!

So for the time being I would say this is not possible - let me know if you
find a way to do it.

Subject: [FW-1] VPN with Microsoft ISA server

Hi,

I must create a VPN with a client ( who has a dummy firewall
administrator ) that has never configured a VPN before and they are using
Microsoft ISA server.

Before I waste my time, I would like to know if it is possible to
create a VPN between Firewall-1 and Microsoft ISA server. If yes, does it
exist a document who explain in detail how to setup a VPN with ISA server (
I look on the Microsoft site but I haven't found nothing interesting ). I
would like to help the client to setup his side ( sorry, I know this part of
my question is not a Firewall-1 question but it will help me a lot! ).

Thanks folks!
