Hi I'm afraid I've been a bit of an idiot. When upgrading the boot manager on the Nokia IP330 I used a corrupt nkipflash.bin. Believe me that's the last time I don't MD5 the file. Anyway, my firewall will now not boot (unsurprisingly) and I'm not sure of the best way forward. I have an idea to remove the hard drive, somehow mount it to a clean FreeBSD installation and do a manual dd if=nkipflash.bin of=/dev/rwd0 seek=63. Does anyone know if this will work, or if there are any other ways of mending a remaking a corrupt boot manager?
