FW-1 4.1 on Solaris 7 The servers behand it become slowly responding. And I found plenty of log entries in /var/adm/messages like these below: ... Mar 14 15:23:49 bjsfig last message repeated 5 times Mar 14 15:23:49 bjsfig unix: FW-1: halloc: unable to allocate 60 bytes Mar 14 15:23:49 bjsfig unix: FW-1: halloc: unable to allocate 68 bytes ... Mar 14 15:26:14 bjsfig last message repeated 1140 times Mar 14 15:26:14 bjsfig unix: FW-1: lost 512 log/trap messages Mar 14 15:26:14 bjsfig unix: FW-1: halloc: unable to allocate 68 bytes ... Mar 14 15:32:22 bjsfig last message repeated 5706 times Mar 14 15:32:22 bjsfig unix: FW-1: lost 512 log/trap messages Mar 14 15:32:22 bjsfig unix: FW-1: log message queue is full Mar 14 15:32:22 bjsfig unix: FW-1: halloc: unable to allocate 68 bytes ... Anyone can explain these logs for me? Is they showing that my FW-1 have been overloaded? Any performance tuning can I do? Thanks in advance.
