So to sum up and some more questions. ... when clicking on the 'get interfaces' button If the query is internal it uses CP-SIC (after 4.1) If its external then SNMP is used. Which SNMP is used is it the Check Point one or the OS? How can I tell if the SIC is running? If firewalls are controlled by same management > server. But for external firewalls you use snmp for interfaces. Definitely. An external firewall would be treated like any other object and a standard snmp query would be sent. -don ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
