John, This is a known problem and should be fixed with 4.1-SP5a according to Nokia support knowledge base : A problem exists between Check Point's connections table and Firewall Flows. Check Point maintains a connections table in it's kernel module. IPSO maintains flow separate information in the routing tables. In some instances, these two mechanisms were getting out of sync. The error message indicates this is occurring. Another indication this is occurring is entries with a negative timeout are showing in the connections table. This error message is sometimes a secondary symptom of the problem described in Resolution 5034 "TCP sessions being dropped on IPSO 3.3/3.4 and FireWall-1 4.1 SP2/SP3/SP4", and the issue should be fixed in v4.1 SP5a. A hotfix has been created to solve the underlying problem. Hotfix 341583, which you can apply to FireWall-1 4.1 SP5a system, can be obtained from Nokia Customer Support. NG Feature Pack 2 will integrate this fix.
