Hi Andrade,
Had the same issue with our firewalls (Checkpoint and IPTABLES).
The banner which is sent by compaq is too long, thus the connection
is terminated by firewall-1. Compaq needs to trim their banner.
Works fine on raw internet.

I have 10 getaway module whit Fw-1 4.1, I cant connect to
xfer-cxo.support.compaq.com, when i type user and password(anonymous and
email), the las message is "230- Compaq File Exchange Gateway
Service:" and stop comunication, if wait 50 seccond, firewall logs show
"drop ftp xx 192.208.35.20 tcp 0 reason:unknown established TCP packet"
somebody can connect???
