Hello, so I assume you have plumbed a new Interface and all traffic destined to that Interface goes lost without any sign / message in the logs. If I would you I would first doublecheck my anti- spoofing settings on that Interface (turn on logging for anti spoofing). You traffic probably gets lost because of the spoofing settings whilst you haven't turned on logging for this feature. --Joerg -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: richard marshall [mailto:[email protected]] Gesendet: Donnerstag, 21. I recently had to change ISP's remotely, so i added the new router to the the spare third interface and had it plugged in. I changed all the relevant nets and server ips on the managment console, including the static and hide NAT objects (rules are automatic). I changed the host address lookup on the firewall and it's license. I am able to connect to the firewall, and to any computer within the vpn behind the firewall. All of the machines behind the firewall can see the rest of the vpn, but not the internet. The firewall log shows that the ping and tracert packets are leaving the firewall ok, and that the addresses are being translated correctly. A tcpdump on the firewall shows that the ping packets are reaching their destination and being returned to the firewall. And that's where i loose the trail. I have checked ARP and static routes on the firewall and they appear to be correct. what could be happening to the return packets? thanks, rich ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
