Hi All,

DOnt ask why ( managment descision)

I have to place an NT server ( standalone config - ie no domain) in our
DMZ
due to fact it required modem for remote support of an applicatin it
houses.

The client that accesses the app is nt\ws on office LAN

At moment the client ( crap design) uses a windows mapped drive to access
the application server data files; eg s:\appdatafiles.

Has anyone ever mapped a drive on a server that was in the dmz ??

I assume there are multiple ports and protocols involed.

I know !! - a stupid idea - however forced upon me ( i suggested isolated
LAN in office - but the guys didnt want two machines under thier desks !!)

Thanks

Laurence
