Mohan, The local.arp feature was not intended to be used on Solaris boxes, it was intended for Windoze systems, although it did not work on W2K systems at the beginning neither. From the experience, in NG the automatic ARP feature seems to work quite well for the NAT part. You can check you proxy ARP table by doing a fw tab -t arp_table from what I seem to find.
