Liu,

Static routes on IPSO are configured using Voyager, for this\
 proceed as follows :

        - Login to Voyager
        - Click on Config
        - Go to Routing Configuration - Static Routes
        - Enter the following infos :

                - New Static Route : IP address of subnet
                - Mask Length : Network mask in # of bits (aka 24 for
255.255.255.0)
                - Next hop type : normal
                - Gateway type : address

                --> click on APPLY

        - In the re-generated screen enter the IP-address of the Gateway
then APPLY again
        - To make the change permanent click on SAVE

        - now from the # prompt of the Nokia a netstat -rn should show
your route

Met vriendelijke groeten - Bien a vous - Kind regards

Subject: [FW-1] How to set static route table or ip forward on IPSO

Hi

I am setting a test enviromnent.
        210.232.3.1 192.168.2.251
A-----------------firewall--------------------B

A(210.232.3.2)
B(192.168.2.79)

I want to ping HostA from HostB.Impssible.
I can ping 210.232.3.1.So I think it must be problem of route table in
firewall or Nokia OS.

My questions are

Q1.Can firewall do route itself without NAT?

Q2.I stop the firewall and try to do the work by using Nokia OS.I have
using "ipsofwd on admin" command to set up ip forward in Nokia IP330 and
its os is IPSO 3.4.But it still has no function.

Q3.I have seen static route configure at Voyager, but do not know how to
use it. Can someone help me?

Thank you very much.
