[FW-1] Swapping NIC cards on Solaris w/CP 4.1

Hi all..

I am running Solaris/Sparc boxes with FW-1 v4.1. Currently we are using the hme NICs that came with it, but want to switch
to a single qfe card. Our IP's won't change at all, so my question is:

 - What's the "right" way to swap out the NIC card without lunching my FW-1 install?
My first guess at the steps would be:

1. fwstop (duh!)
2. unplumb hme0
3. unplumb hme1
4. edit the fwstart script in the RC file so FW-1 does not start automatically at the next boot.
5. shutdown the box
6. install the qfe card
7. power up
8. I think I need to do a boot -r (find the hardware)
9. plumb qfe0, qfe1, etc
10. number the interfaces, bring them up.
11. alter the hostname files in /etc to reflect the new interfaces.
12. reboot to make sure the machine comes up with them, they work, etc.
13. fwstart
14. from GUI, go into FW object and "get" interfaces (just to be safe..)

thx for any ideas, pointers etc.

Joe
