Hello- I am trying to install a copy of Checkpoint Firewall-1 (version 4.0, strong) on a new Sun server (Solaris 8, 64 bit & 32 bit), but the installation of the kernel modules seems to have a problem. There is a number of segmentation faults as well as a couple of core dumps. I am using the "fwconfig" program. My question is if this version of Firewall-1 is even compatible with Solaris 8 SPARC. The manual says Solaris 2.5 and up, so I assumed it would work. Also, I have not applied any Firewall-1 service packs yet, but the Solaris install is patched up.
