Michael, I don't have a lot of experience with Solaris, but might have seen something similar to your situation on another OS. When were you getting those error messages ? Wasn't it by change when pushing a policy while having done a cd into one of those directories, just guessing. I say this because I got the same kind of errors on a Windows Nt Firewall, pushing a policy while having an Explorer Windows open in that directory. These are opensource.
