I have installed NG FP1 on Solaris 8 with the latest Solaris Patches on an Ultra-250 with 256MB RAM and plenty of disk space. I have about 40 network objects, 20 rules and just a few SR users defined. When I try to install the policy, fw core dumps. This happens from the GUI as well as from fw load <policy.W>. I know NG is new but give me a break. Has anyone experienced this and found a fix? It sounds like we may have to purchase a PIX firewall after all. I searched thru the previous threads and saw that others had the same problem but did not see if they have resolved it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA J.
