Re: [FW-1] Hide NAT depending on destination

Hi Harley,

I'm not an expert on fw-1 4.0, but perhaps this will help you:

you create networkobjects for IP 66.55.44.3 and IP 66.77.88.9,
then you add the following NAT rules manualy:

        ORGINAL TRANSLATED
Source Dest. Port Source Dest. Port
192.169.35.0 155.25.0.0 any 66.55.44.3(H) original
    original
192.169.35.0 any any 66.77.88.9(H) original
    original

I think this should work, corect me, if I'm wrong.
Any way good luck ;-)

Hi,

I have a situation where I need to hide my internal network with two different
hide addresses, depending on the destination of the packet. Basically I
want to
hide 192.169.35.0 as, say, 66.55.44.3 if the destination is in the 155.25.0.0
range. But if the destination is in anywhere else, I want the hide address
to be
66.77.88.9. I've tried multiple ways to accomplish this, without any luck. I'd
appreciate any suggestions.

Harley

PS - FW1 4.0 on Solaris 2.6
