Yes. It happens to us all, and it's, mildly put, extremely f*****g annoying.

As far as I have been able to see from my logfiles, FW-1
adds columns as they are used. For instance, my FW logs nothing in the
IKE_LOG
field, except for when I install a rule base. Thus, this field is usually
absent
from my logfiles, but shows up in between other fields when I use it.

A special field is this respect seems to be "sys_msgs", which in my logs
always
comes last, even though it is seldomly used on more than the first line of
the log.
