Hi! One thing I did on our FW-1 (NT 4) box, was to add a static route route add -p 64.12.161.185 mask 255.255.255.255 (your FW-1 ext. address) route add -p 64.12.161.153ask 255.255.255.255 (your FW-1 ext. address) This is an "all-or-nothing on/off" switch for IM. It routes all requests for login.oscar.aol.com to the external IP of the FW-1 box, essentially"dead-ending" them - IM logins can't take place. - Jeff > ---------- > From: Chris Arnold[SMTP:[email protected]] > Reply To: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 > Sent: Tuesday, February 05, 2002 12:29 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [FW-1] How to block instant messenger traffic > > Which one?
