Paul,

The hotfix for Nokia appliance is only for v4.1 SP5 running on IPSO 3.4.x. I recently upgraded my systems to this version and applied this hotfix as the last thing. So, if you are running the above versions, this hotfix should be applied. It is a fw and fwmod.o files that you need to copy and it will overwrite the previous files, but this is a new hotfix so your client authentication (please can you tell more about this) should not be affected.

Thanks,
Mona

I've already installed a Hotfix for the Client Authentication memory leak.
Will this Hotfix overwrite the previous?

There is an hotfix for Nokia appliances running 3.4.x and 4.1 SP5 called
Nokia Flows and RDP fix. You may need to install that hotfix, it's
available on Checkpoint website.

I think that should resolve the issue.

        Folks,

This has happened to me twice today on a Nokia IP330
appliance
        running IPSO 3.4.1 and FW-1 4.1-sp5 (build (41510). I have been
making some
policy revisions and twice tonight when I pushed that policy, the
following
happens. The gui checks the policy then displays:

Installing Security Policy post-bak on all.all@post-trib01
        Using external interface 'eth-s3p1c0'

Its at this point the machine reboots. I've checked the system log,
but
there is no info as to why the box reboots.

Any help or insight as to what may be causing this would be
appreciated.

        Thanks,

        John Matney
