Nope, this statement is for Nokia IPSO (custom FreeBSD OS). It would most likely not work under FreeBSD OS off the shelf. You need a specific libraries from IPSO in order to get stuff to work. Try it out and let us know if you have any success.

I was playing around with fw.mkdev file. I noticed something about the if
statement. There is a line that says:
if (-f /kernel) then
set freebsd = 1.
Hmmm, so, this means that it's possible to install checkpoint ng on a
freebsd box. :-)
