[FW-1] Installing rdp_flows_hf_41_sp5_ipso_34x_vpn_des.tgz

HI All,

Wonder if you can help me with a slight problem,

Hardware: Nokia IP110
OS : IPSO 3.4.1


Trying to install this package, rdp_flows_hf_41_sp5_ipso_34x_vpn_des.tgz

but keep getting the following



Processing package rdp_flows_hf_41_sp5_ipso_34x_vpn_des.tgz ...
Error: Skipping /var/admin/pkgs/rdp_flows_hf_41_sp5_ipso_34x_vpn_des.tgz ...
could not find MANIFEST file

End of new package installation
cleaning up ..done



I have read issues on Checkpoint relating to ftp'ing that file in ascii to
the FW would cause this problem. I was 99.9 % sure I hade ftp'd file in
binary mode, but I tried again.

FTP'd file in binary mode, still got the same error.


This error I think is associated with an error I am having with the
Checkpoint FW software.

when I do a fwstart it says that Firewall-1 started. Try a fwstart again and
it says that it is running and that I need to perform fwstop to unload
policy. When I try a fwstop I am told that it cannot find the PID of the
FWD. The process is not running.

It is like the box thinks that FW-1 is running but it is not.

Any help greatly appreciated.
