I was in a similar mess. I am out now. assuming you are on 3.2.1 . apply sp2(for ipso3.3) its ok if you don't have 3.3 running though. then install 3.4.1 and then apply sp5 + hotfix. then when u install fw-14.1, you should be fine. at least i got through it this way.
