I finally got it working last night. It only took me three months. Anyway, I hope this helps some of you. Here's my configuration: Firewall-1 4.1 SP4 Objects.C configured as shown in Phoneboy VPN1_IPSEC_encapsulation service defined Firewall object IKE Encryption Scheme defined with pre-shared secret Users configured for IKE with preshared secret password uncheck FWZ scheme Securemote 4.1 SP5 Force UDP Encapsulation IKE over TCP Linksys BEFSR41 1.40.2 Everything else left default Here are some tips: When I made the changes to ojbects.C, I removed all other objects.C files from that directory during the following policy install. Watch the logs to see if the client is attempting a FWZ or IKE install. Make sure it's IKE. That was my problem. On the Linksys router, I did not have to make any changes. Possibly because I used the latest firmware. However, I did have to do a DHCP renew. If you can, use Link Logger to track the in/out packets. I'm not sure if I had to upgrade my firewall to SP4, but I did it to be safe. I'm not able to connect two Securemote sessions on the same Linksys router yet. If anyone has any info on that, please post it. Hope this helps. It's been a load off my back now =) John ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
