[FW-1] reverse and tranparent proxy at the same time in dmz , any probelm ?

Hi!

CISCO says that "the same Content Engine can be providing a reverse proxy cache service while simultaneously providing a transparent network cache
service"

My question is, this is not dangerous, yes no why  ?
Where to put it , in the same dmz  that teh web server farm is located or in another dmz ?
