Hi! This is what checkpoint say's: To enable two static NAT servers in the same subnet to access each other using their valid IP addresses, it is necessary to create objects and add security policy rules and NAT rules. For testing with ping, it may be necessary to check the "Accept ICMP" in the Properties Setup, and setting it to "Before Last". It also may be necessary to clear the arp cache of the servers before testing. ...ujjwal -----Original Message----- From: Don [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, January 16, 2002 9:57 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [FW-1] DMZ > I have a few server in my DMZ zone with static NAT. CheckPoint can not send traffic out an interface and have it come back into the same interface as is the case with static NAT and two server on the same network trying to talk via external addresses. I do not remember the technical specifics, but it does not work. -Don ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
