Have you been able to get a NG-machine to retain it's connection table over a rulebase reload? Impossible here, and when poking in objects_5_0.C and the compiled rulesbases (*.pf files) i find this property on the firewall objects: :fw_keep_old_conns (false) ...but no way can I find a way in the GUI to flip it to true, and if I edit the file manually and then recompile the rulebase and load it, it generates: :fw_keep_old_conns (true) ...but then no connection survive anything or gets started properly... Currently I wouldnt wish NG upon my mother-in-law if I had one, even if FP1 does fix a lot of problems from HF2. ttfn, A Arno Hechenberger <[email protected]> writes: > Some of the problems are solved with FP1 but many already exist (specially with ICMP and NAT) > > > Use it only for test or small and simple enviroments !! > > Arno Hechenberger > > > > -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- > Von: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] > Gesendet: Freitag, 04.
