for your object that your trying to connect to from the outside to.  you
need to give it an rfc 1918 address then under nat tell it to staticly nat
for a routable IP
ensure that you have added the routes correctly on the firewall. For example
if you want to staticly translate a 192.168.6.10 address and have it
responed for 65.10.10.10 then you will need a route that is similar to this
depending on your OS that your fw1 is on,  route add 65.10.10.10
192.168.6.10  this happens to be the way for solaris.  that way the
connection can come back out from that pc to the remote client that is
building that connection.  Also ensure that if you are using static nat that
before you allow any connection at all to that host that it is on a DMZ
segment of your network.  keep it out of your internal net.
