  • Thread-topic: GUI Admin password in NG FP1

Hi all,

Not a question this time but something strange seen after an upgrade
from 4.1-SP3 to NG FP1.

The admin account had a password including a ";" ... no problems to
login to whatever GUI you want,
but when you try to switch from policy editor to log viewer for
instance you get a Authentication failed for
"localhost" error message ... started to investigate this and found out
that some combinations work and
 some not ...

    Those that work are : Compaq - ;12:23:34 - ;Sun - ;Solaris -
-Solaris - ;abcdef - ;1compaq
    Those that don't are : ;Compaq - ;compaq - ;compa - 1compaq

Strange no ? Someone else seen such a strange behavior ?

Met vriendelijke groeten - Bien à vous - Kind regards
