Hi All. This list has been great BTW. Probably just a simple question, but here goes. I have been seeing some weird entries in my Log Viewer. The entries are coming from my mail server, on the outside world...in a different state. Anyway, the connection attempts are to ports above 1024, but coming from the pop3 port on the mail server. Clean-up is dropping them, but why would connections be coming from the pop3 daemon on the mail server? Anybody? Any Ideas? Thanks a lot. -Fab > -----Original Message----- > From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 > [mailto:[email protected]] On > Behalf Of Richard Marshall > Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 10:51 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [FW-1] SecuRemote question ? > > > In my experience with a seperate managment station, > SecuRemote is unavailable when the managment station fails. > > rich > > -----Original Message----- > From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 > [mailto:[email protected]]On > Behalf Of Serge Vondandamo > Sent: 20 December 2001 14:32 > To: [email protected] > Subject: [FW-1] SecuRemote question ? > > > Hi, > > We have a distributed enviroments, one management station > (which is also a FW module)+ several other modules. > > Our SecuRemote users authenticate to the management station > External IP before accessing their regional modules and servers. > > My question is this: When the Management station is not > available, can a SecuRemote client access any other regional > module or Servers ? since they do connect to the management > station external IP to Authenticate ? > > Thanks for your reply. > > Serge > > -----Original Message----- > From: Suriyanto Limah [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 3:46 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [FW-1] Cannot Compile > > > Hi.. > > I have created a resource : > > Name: AntiSpamming > Exception Track: None > Match Sender: {*@vhost.*} > Don't Accept Mail Larger Than 1000 KB > CVP (no server installed) > CVP None > Allowed Chars: 8-bit > > With the two following roule: > > Source Destination Service Action Install on > any SMTP smtp->SMTP-AntiSpamming Reject OurFW > > > > regards, > Suriyanto > > > > > > > > > "Roelandts, Guy" <[email protected]> on 12/19/2001 08:39:44 PM > > Please respond to Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 > <[email protected]> > > > > > > > > > To: [email protected] > > cc: (bcc: Suriyanto Limah/AIN/ACI) > > > > Subject: Re: [FW-1] Cannot Compile > > > > > > > > > > Hi, > > Didn't you define something, like an object, that contains > smtp in it ?
