To expand on my earlier reply one of the primary resources I used was http://www.phoneboy.com/faq/0141.html. On a brand new Linsys BEFSR41 running 1.39.1 code I was able to use it out of the box. IPSec passthru is on by default and port 2746 mapping was not needed. I also did not need to force UDP encapsulation. The Linksys will only support one Securemote client at a time, per their web site and based on experience. I was able to kill Securemote on one client and start using it on another, though. We are using FW-1 4.1 SP5 and Securemote 4.1 SP5 but did have it working with SP4. --- Larry <[email protected]> wrote: > - Verify firmware is at least 1.39 (non-wireless) or > 1.39.2 (wireless) - we had one user work with > earlier > version and another that could not > > - The firewall needs to have a route to the private > subnet back towards the Internet; this means the > standard Linksys 192.168.1.x subnet cannot exist in > your internal network > > - We use IP Pool NAT > > - Some clients may need to reduce MTU to 1400 > > --- "Trievel, Thomas" <[email protected]> > wrote: > > I have SR users that have Linksys > router/firewalls. > > The user can > > authenticate to the CP Firewall but can not > > communicate to devices inside > > the network.
