[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [FW-1] unusual error
Hello, I have recently started getting an error message in my logs that I have never seen before; "reason: violated unidirectional connection" I receive this error during FTP data transfer attempts. Here's what I get from my logs: service source destination description ACCEPT ftp-data XXX.XXX.XXX.5 XXX.XXX.XXX.6 "reason: violated unidirectional connection" AND REJECT ftp-data XXX.XXX.XXX.5 XXX.XXX.XXX.6 "reason: violated unidirectional connection" I'm seeing both ACCEPTS and REJECTS in my logs. I have never seen this entry before. I took a look at checkpoints knowledge base and they have a solution, but it doesn't explain what is causing it. I'm not to happy with changing the firewall without knowing why I should. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Aeon Hale ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
