It seems to me that on this version you can modify a file....fwauth, perhaps....to stop the SMTP security server from ever starting. You just comment it out with a '#', if I remember this correctly. Earlier versions had a tab in the admin User Interface to let you do this. I don't have a firewall running to check, but it should be easy enough to find and it would beat messing with rules IMHO. How do I shut it off but still allow SMTP mail to come in and get redirected to my email server? I tried using the rule ANY FIREWALL SMTP_Mapped ACCEPT (where I have smtp_mapped mapped over to my E2k server), but when I did this, all SMTP was rejected. I put back my rule of ANY FIREWALL SMTP->email ACCEPT (where I had SMTP with a Resource called email) and email was allowed in again but it turned on relaying again. Any suggestions??
