Hi James, Thank you for your information provided in FW mailing list. I have also set up a scheduler service on WinNT box with (SP6). However, it doesn't work to me. Is there any clue? My CKPFW-1 4.1 SP5 is installed in "D" Drive and the absolute path is "D:\CKPFW\FW1\4.1". When I tried to set a task in command prompt using "at" command, it looks like this C:\>at 11:50pm /every: %FWDIR%\bin\fw logswitch (where "%FWDIR%" is defined in registry as "d:\ckpfw\fw1\4.1") Even I put a double quote in at command such as "%FWDIR%\bin\fw logswitch", it doesn't work too. Any idea? Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: James Lee Bell [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, November 01, 2001 03:16 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [FW-1] Automatic Saving of Log Files And if you do happen to be running the management module on an NT box, you can do something similar to all the "cron" answers you've gotten from the *nix guys using "at". Make certain the scheduler service is running, and run "at /?" at a command prompt to get the command line syntax. In one case I've set up in the past, I "rotated" the logs every 8 hours at midnight, 8am, 4pm with something like: at 12:01am /every:m,t,w,th,f,s,su fw logswitch at 8:01am /every:m,t,w,th,f,s,su fw logswitch at 4:01pm /every:m,t,w,th,f,s,su fw logswitch Then do "at" by itself to view them.
